This was my first real 'test' of sorts. I was given the oppertnity to test my pet taking skills by a kind fellow who offerd me the use of his equipment and house in exchange of a few shots of his cat. This was a good 4 months ago before I had my first paid assigment.

This little stray they brought into thier home was only a few weeks old then and was 3 months old at the time of this photo. She was a hyper little furball only kepping still for seconds at a time before dashing away to chase imaginary rodents. The only way I got a few shots when she was playing or distracted.

The owner helped me set up this shot by enticing her to attack a dangling ribbon. This was all shot at night with my 430ex bounced off the celing. I was surprised that the flash could recycle fast enough for the burst

I feel this shot managed to capture most of the cat's personality. The cat is not 6+ months old and still just as hyper. Comments and Crits welcome.
